WINSPEAR CONSTRUCTION, LLC

Jordan Winspear established his LLC in Dec 2013. Shortly thereafter, he took a position
with a large prime contractor doing work on the expansion of public rail transportation in
the Los Angeles area. After a successful 2-year employment as a project coordinator,
Jordan returned to the Boise area. Together with his wife Kristin, they reinstated their
small business with the Idaho Secretary of State’s business office, operating out of a
detached garage at their home in the Boise north end. Winspear applied and received
his certification with the Veterans Administration as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned
Small Business (SDVOSB). After a couple of years of building experience and
performance history, Winspear was awarded a significant federal contract for
the construction of a parking garage on the Boise VA campus in March of 2017. That
success led to many additional federal contracts, including the construction of a parking

garage at the Reno Veterans Administration location, which was awarded in January 2019.Later in 2019, Jordan moved his business location to a commercial property on FederalWay in Boise. He applied for and received federal certification as a DisadvantagedBusiness Enterprise (DBE) from the Idaho Department of Transportation office. Duringthe COVID years, Jordan adapted his business model and survived while many smallbusinesses were failing across the United States. He continued his constructioncontracting with commercial, other state, and federal projects. Federal projects includedwork for the Veterans Administration, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau ofReclamation, and the US Army Corps of Engineers.Recently, Jordan completed a remodel and expansion of his business offices on the FederalWay. He is completing projects for the US Coast Guard in Massachusetts and Oregon.The future looks even brighter as Winspear has been selected as a contractor for the 5-year, 15-billion-dollar expansion of the MICRON campus here in Boise.Jordan attributes his success to hard work, willingness to adapt to changingrequirements, excellent communication skills, and continued dedication to quality workperformance.
